Lifeguard with a focus on cleaning services at Rosengårdsbadet

We are now looking for a lifeguard with a focus on cleaning services for a permanent position at Rosengårdsbadet.

Job Responsibilities

As a lifeguard, you will be an important part of the operation and work to provide the best possible service to our visitors. Primarily, you will perform cleaning services and monitor safety in the swimming facility. If necessary, you may also staff the reception.

With us, you will have a varied and stimulating job together with competent and engaged colleagues who are passionate about providing Malmö residents with a meaningful leisure time. As an employee, we offer you ongoing training necessary for the position, including pool lifeguard training and CPR.

The working hours are scheduled and include day, evening, and weekend work.

Qualifications

You who are applying have a high school education or primary school combined with at least two years of work experience. If you also have training such as lifeguard training, swimming instructor training, or other equivalent training, this is an advantage. You have previous experience in cleaning services. You also have basic computer skills and can communicate fluently in speech and writing in Swedish. Knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.

We are looking for someone who has experience and enjoys working with service and customer interaction. If you have previously worked in a swimming environment or conducted swimming lessons, water aerobics, or similar activities, this is highly meritorious. It is also a plus if you have experience working with children and youth. If you also have a driver's license, that is an advantage.

Swimming proficiency is a requirement for the positions, therefore candidates who are called for an interview will be required to complete a swimming test. The swimming test includes swimming 200 meters, diving for a buoy at a depth of 3.8 meters, and towing the buoy for 25 meters.

Oxievångsbadet is a family-friendly pool located in Oxie, characterized by engaged and positive employees. We place great importance on providing customers with personal and good service and want them to enjoy relaxation and invigorating exercise in our fine facilities and pools. We offer lap swimming, recreation, baby swimming, swimming school, water aerobics, relaxation evenings, gym, and more.

Rosengårdsbadet is an outdoor pool located in the heart of Rosengård. Rosengårdsbadet is a community and swimming school pool where swimming clubs, schools, and various cultural associations conduct their activities during the winter months. During the summer months, the pool is open to the public and staffed by lifeguards from Oxievångsbadet.
